I carry a little stack of index cards in my pencil case. When i have a minute, i draw on them and sometimes i leave them wherever i am, sometimes i stuck them back in the pack and find them later, often complete little surprises that i don't even remember drawing. here's a few.

this is what i do when i'm not doing anything.

when i'm drawing, especially just for pleasure or practice, i always try to do at least a couple of drawings that are ink only, no preliminary pencil sketch. it keeps me on my toes, brave and flexible. this one and the hai dere are both ink only.
