ink

sumi-e and watercolor on rice paper
first personal painting (not for commission or gift) i've done since i started doing more digital stuff and simultaneously getting back to my art basics. the original is fairly large, i had to scan it in two goes and piece it together.

    1. Thanks Darren. sumi-e is tricky and new to me, this was an experiment that blossomed. :) I'm used to having so much control over my ink, I enjoy the life that the ink takes on it's own on wet paper VERY much!
